KCN Initiative©

The Kinship & Cultural Network (KCN) Initiative© aims to champion the success of Black students navigating higher education by: ​

  1. amplifying their voices as a means of resistance against systemic discriminatory norms found in the historical exclusion and oppression of Blacks in America’s educational system

  2. fostering positive educational communities and experiences within minority-serving institutions and PWIs alike

  3. implementing institutional and disciplinary structures that are essential to recruiting and retaining Black students in higher education
